Lovie's Biography
Lovie came to Animal Wonders from a woman who adopted her from a young girl who said she couldn't keep him any more. The woman would take Lovie out to meet the public to help brighten their day. Lovie's owner was moving and couldn't take him, so she asked if he could find a home here. He was already a natural at educating and entertaining people so he fit right into the crowd at Animal Wonders. He has moved in with Ray, the rainbow lorikeet, who is still in rehab as a feather plucker. Lovie has found that he enjoys Ray's quiet company. We are very happy that Ray and Lovie are friends. Ray needed some company from another bird to help him be comfortable and less stressed. Lovie has an amazing calming effect and is a wonderful bird all around.
