Professor Claw's Biography
Professor Claw joined the Animal Wonders family in 2013. Her favorite food is a juicy waxworm, but she also accepts crickets and mealworms. She's gentle and shy, and yes scorpions do have individual personalities (you'd agree with us if you could see how her sister behaves!).

Professor Claw's mother has an interesting legacy. 12 months after rescuing her, she completely surprised us with 19 unexpected baby scorplings! One of her offspring remained at Animal Wonders to become an ambassador for her species.
The little scorpling was named Professor Claw because she would grow up to be a teacher to many! The kids are always amazed when we show off that she's so gentle she can even be held bare handed! |
