Wilbur's Biography

Wilbur is a very handsome snake. He hatched some time in 2007 and came to Animal Wonders in 2009. He is calm and easy going and doesn't mind being handled. He likes to burrow under his moss or curl up under his hideout leaving his head out to watch the world go by. Wilbur does have a kind of venom but we are never worried since hognose snakes don't strike defensively. They play dead if they are scared and Wilbur is so relaxed around humans that he never feels threatened.
