Yucca's Biography

Yucca came to Animal Wonders in September 2008. She was tiny when she first arrived and she had the most precious face of any tortoise we had ever seen. She loved to eat her tortoise pellets and she was so trusting she would even drink while she was being held.

Since her arrival, she has grown into a beautiful adult and an amazing ambassador! Audiences love watching her explore and munch on fruit like bananas, grapes, and mangoes. They also love touching her shell and feeling how heavy she is, and Yucca loves all the attention.
